Responsible for the daily inventory, receiving and distribution of supplies, equipment and/or instruments as directed by the department. May undertake the procuring of rental equipment. Maintain inventory control procedures in order to maintain safety, quality and accuracy. Familiarity with location of inventory in the department and throughout designated units.


Enters inventory data into a computer and maintains records, reports or files. Completes assigned tasks, seeking help when needed. Demonstrates open, friendly, accepting, and supportive behaviors with team members. Identifies the standards, policies and procedures of inventory control. Prepare documents, such as work orders, bill of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.   Takes personal ownership of and strives to meet assigned accountability expectations.


Primarily responsible for servicing units within the hospital with supplies as requested. Working with inventory mgmt., equipment cleaning, crash  carts, etc. The hours for this position are 7-3:30 p.m.


May require a valid Driver's License.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           High school education plus two years of experience with Warehouse Inventory and/or Customer Service preferred.
