Texas State University is planning a new civil engineering program with classes intended to start in fall 2019. The innovative curriculum focuses on the breadth of concepts associated with urban-based, technology-enhanced infrastructure. Currently, the program seeks to fill a tenure-line assistant or associate professor position in environmental engineering to begin fall 2019.
The successful candidate will be expected to establish a program of funded research, exhibit a strong commitment to student-centered teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and perform university and professional service. Women and minority candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. The review of applications will begin November 19, 2018.
