The Associate Producer will assist the Producer on all aspects of game production process including ideation, managing product deliverables, milestone reviews, internal & external communication, and partner relations. This person will handle administrative, logistical, and coordination functions related to multiple product development schedules in a fast-paced multi-product environment. The candidate will partner with the Producer to uphold the overall quality and usability of features within the game, writing and managing relevant documentation, managing resources, and asset sourcing. The Associate Producer will be expected to understand and champion our prospective players’ needs, and to work with the Producer to prioritize workflows and resources while effectively collaborating across functional teams.
Disney Quality: Maintain highest quality creativity, technology and innovation in all aspects of gameplay, art, animation, sound and overall gameplay. Partner Support: Locate and supply all appropriate assets to developers as necessary. Schedules & Reports: Support in the maintaining of development schedules, perform milestone reviews, tracking submissions, and submitting weekly written progress reports on each assigned title. Milestone reviews: Help document and deliver detailed art direction, gameplay and franchise feedback and approvals for all game milestone submissions including design documents, asset submissions, and work-in-progress builds. Task includes routing to other internal resources for feedback. Internal Support: Serve as a point of contact for the Quality Assurance team as well as other Business Units within Disney like localization, legal, security, and guest experience. Provide brand guidance to external partner teams balancing the needs of the game and the authenticity of the TWDC Franchise’s characters and worlds, with a focus on Disney and Pixar. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and passion for games. Strong sense of ownership, flexibility, and urgency. Able to work independently, creatively, and track multiple deadlines and projects. Experience working with external partners. Excellent oral/written communication and collaboration skills. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Excel, Word, Powerpoint/Keynote, Google Docs. Experience working with Quality Assurance departments as well as familiarity with bug tracking systems such as Jira, Trello, etc. Passion for the latest games and game platforms (Mobile, Console, and PC (must be a Gamer)). Demonstrate passion and familiarity with TWDC Franchises, including Walt Disney Feature Animation, Pixar, Disney Live Action, and the Disney Channel. AA/BA/BS preferred or demonstrates through portfolio an industry standard level of video game design and/or professional writing experience. 1+ year of experience specifically in product development/production of Console/Mobile/PC games or other entertainment. 645380
