Perform research on topics related to automated empirical tuning, and particularly in iterative compilation with the iterative Floating Point Kernel Optimizer (iFKO) compiler framework, and parallel and high performance tuning for linear algebra using Automatically Tuned Linear Algebra Software (ATLAS) autotuning framework. Write papers and grants, iFKO and ATLAS development, machine preparation, and assisting with student direction.
