Job Summary:
We believe privacy is a fundamental human right.

We care about the user experience and this is an opportunity for you to join the next revolution in human-computer interaction. At Siri we’re looking for creative machine learning engineers eager to improve existing and novel AI driven, user facing features, while preserving user privacy.

Key Qualifications:
* Privacy-preserving Machine Learning (pref. using differential privacy, secure multiparty compute)
* ML Toolkits (e.g. Tensorflow, PyTorch and Dynet, etc.)
* Scripting Languages (e.g. Python, Lua, Perl, bash scripting, etc)
* C/C++ programming knowledge preferred

Working as part of an extraordinary team, you, as an expert in privacy-preserving machine learning techniques, will spend your time researching, developing and experimenting with a wide variety of existing and novel private machine learning solutions. Through your work, you will contribute towards our goal of crafting techniques which protect the privacy of our users, whilst driving improvements in the technologies we support (which include, but are not limited to language technologies).

Our research relies on very large quantities of data, state-of-the-art methods in deep learning, and a sophisticated distributed learning framework, used to tackle real world problems at scale. You should therefore be passionate about building extraordinary products that are used by millions of people.

Working closely with scientists and engineers from many teams at Apple, we look for team-mates who thrive in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.

If this is you, we’d love to hear from you!

PhD in Computer Science or a related field, with knowledge (preferably publications) related to privacy-preserving approaches
