The Center for Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience seeks a calendar-year, non-tenure track Research Associate to begin September 1, 2019. The position requires a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, or a related field, at least three years of post-doctoral experience, experience with the use of functional MRI and EEG approaches for the study of human brain function. Thorough familiarity with programming and analysis in MATLAB and/or Python are also required. The responsibilities will include design and performance of fMRI and EEG experiments on the neural basis of cognitive processes, analysis of the neuroimaging and behavioral data acquired during these experiments, preparation of scientific figures illustrating the results of the experiments, writing scientific manuscripts describing the results of the experiments, preparation and submission of grant proposals to be submitted to major funding agencies, and supervision and training of research assistants, graduate students, and post-doctoral associates. The position is for five years, renewable contingent upon continuing need for the position, availability of funding, and a positive formal evaluation. The position is grant funded.
