The Department of Anthropology at Texas State University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in archaeology, at the assistant professor level, to begin Fall 2020. The successful candidate will contribute to department’s baccalaureate degrees in anthropology, M.A. in anthropology, and Ph.D. in applied anthropology. Responsibilities of the position include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in archaeology and applied archaeology; developing external funding to support an active research program; and contributing to the department and university through service activities.
